Una iniciativa en donde a través de un cuento intentan explicar como viven los menores que son víctimas del grave maltrato infantil que supone la manipulación parental. Si en la mayor parte de casos son las madres quienes logran alienar a los menores en contra de su padre, una de las causas principales es que son las mujeres quienes se quedan legalmente con la custodia de los hijos y disponen de mayor tiempo para envenenar las mentes de los menores y provocar un rechazo injustificado hacia sus figuras paternas.

Es un libro infantil que aborda la problemática de los hijos de padres divorciados que sufren interferencia del vínculo por parte de uno de sus progenitores.
It is a children´s book that addresses the issues of children with divorced parents, that suffer the interference of one of them.
Visto a través del universo de un niño de 7 años, el problema toma la forma de un dinosaurio imaginario que afecta todos los aspectos de su vida.
Narrated through the eyes of a 7 year old boy, the problem takes the shape of an imaginary dinosaur that affects all different aspects of the little boy´s life.

"Mijo tiene una mascota prehistórica que lo protege de que su padre se lo quiera robar. Nadie sabe cómo llegó a casa pero su mamá lo adoptó y lo llamó ARABIA. Después de casi 9 años en que ARABIA evitó a toda costa que el papá se acercara, algo está a punto de cambiar."
¨Mijo has a prehistoric pet that protects him from his father who wants to take him away. No one knows how this pet got to their home, but his mother adopted it and called him ARABIA. After almost 9 years since ARABIA prevented the father to be near his son, something is about to change.¨

A tres años de haberme separado y de no ver a Nicolás, he descubierto que somos miles los padres que hemos sido despojados de nuestros hijos y convertidos en seres a quien ellos temen y odian.
After three years of being separated and not being able to see Nicolás, I discovered that there are thousands of us parents that have been separated from our children and turned into beings they both fear and hate.
Decidí exponer mi caso en las redes sociales para poner el tema en la mesa. Mis acciones poéticas -así las llamo por ser actos de amor y no de confrontación- son denuncias públicas pero también es una forma de transmutar el dolor. 6actosdeamor, FotodePapa, buscoaNico y 100cartasaNico, son tres piezas claves para entender mi lucha.
I decided to take my case to the social media platforms, and to put the subject on the table. My poetic actions –that is how I call them as these are acts of love and not confrontation- are public demonstrations but are also a way to transmute the pain. 6actosdeamor, FotodePapa, buscoaNico and 100cartasaNico, are key pieces to understand my struggle.

Porque Mijo es TU hijo. Esta es la historia de miles de padres, madres, hermanos, tíos y abuelos que sufren este cáncer social. Si tu eres uno de ellos, este proyecto te hará sentir que hay luz, que si puedes hacer algo más por tu hijo y por muchos otros.
Because Mijo is YOUR son too. This is the story of thousands of fathers, mothers, brothers, uncles and aunts, grandparents, who suffer this social cáncer. If you are one of them, this project will make you feel there is still hope and that you can do more for your kid and for many others.
¿Como será el libro? What will the book be like?
Será una obra de arte, en la que no se nos vaya ni un solo detalle. Tenemos pensado un tiraje de mil libros, con sesenta páginas, veinticinco ilustraciones a color, un prólogo de Rocío Medrano y miles de agradecimientos para quienes ayudaron a que existiera.
It will be a work of art, in which we would not leave any detail out. We have thought of a first print of one thousand books, with 60 pages, and 25 colour illustrations; with a foreword from Rocío Medrano, and many thousand ¨thank yous¨ to everyone who supports this book and will make it happen.
¿En que se usará el dinero? How wil the money be spent?
Ante todo, pagaremos la impresión de los libros. Los honorarios de Azucena y Yasmín que con todo cariño se han sumado al proyecto con su talento para ilustrar. Le pagaremos a Alex Magallanes por su sabiduría en diseño y producción editorial y a Rocío Medrano por su trabajo con el que se ayuda al trabajo de sociedad civil y asesoría a padres en conflicto. El resto será utilizado para manufacturar los playeras, kits de salvación, impresiones, embalaje y envío de los paquetes!!
First of all, this money will be to pay for the printing costs. The honoraries of Azucena en Yasmín, that have very lovingly joined our project with their talent to illustrate the book. We will also pay Alex Magallanes for his wisdom in all the design and editorial work, and to Rocío Medrano for her work with which she supports parents in conflict. The remainder will be used to manufacture t-shirts, salvation kits, other related printing materials, packaging and shipping!
Vale decir que Alex Magallanes está en la lista de los 150 Mejores Ilustradores Mexicanos, Yasmin en la lista de las 66 Ilustradoras Mexicanas en las que Inspirarse, Azzu colabora en uno de los mejores estudios de animación de la ciudad, Rocío es abogado y activista de derechos humanos.
¿... y las recompensas? …And the rewards?
La mejor recompensa es tener en tus manos el libro pero también hay otras joyitas que vale la pena describir, como las T-shirts, que funcionan increible cuando las usas al mismo tiempo.
The best reward will be to have the book in your hands, but there will also be other gems that are worth describing, such as the t-shirts, that work as a great ensamble when worn together.
O los Kits de Salvación que contienen stickers, postales con los héroes del libro y la ya famosa oración al Ángelito de la Guarda de un niño alienado... el Sobre Sorpresa contiene una sorpersa... o que esperabas, ¿que te hechemos a perder el momento?
The salvation kits have stickers, post cards with the book heroes and the already famous prayer of the alienated Little Guardian Angel… and a surprise envelope, that has a surprise… of course! Or what did you expect? That we would ruin the surprise?!
Riesgos y desafíos
Esta es la primera vez que se escribe y produce un libro sobre este tema en México y debe ser de los primeros esfuerzos en Amércia Latina. Sumarse a esta causa es poner tu nombre y el de tu hijo en un libro que va a hacer historia.
This is the first time a book about this subject is written and produced in Mexico, and it must be amongst the first few efforts on the subject in Latin America. Joining this cause is writting your name and your kid(s) name in a book that will make history.
Hemos cuidado todos los detalles para que que estén a salvo los derechos del cuento, de los personajes y hemos creado nuestra propia editorial independiente (NiñoPerdido) para no depender de terceros. Nuestras alianzas con MAPA, SAE y Alex Magallanes nos aseguran que el libro estará cuidado tanto en contenido como en su presentación.
We have taken care of every detail to make sure the book´s story rights are protected, same with the carachters of the book and so we have created our own independent editroial (NiñoPerdido), so we do not depend on third parties. Our Alliance with MAPA, SAE and Alex Magallanes ensure us that this book will be well taken care of, not just in its content, but also in its presentation.
